Shorter-Gooden Consulting (SGC) works with organizations to foster learning and organizational development that advance equity, diversity and inclusion. SGC works with senior leaders, boards, cabinets, departments, and others to address diversity-related challenges and to implement strategies to meet organizational goals. SGC often leads or supports:
Diversity strategic planning – diversity vision statement, conceptual framework for diversity, strategic goals, action plans and/or an organizational structure to support the work
Diversity audit – design and collect quantitative and qualitative data to assess organizational climate and determine organizational strengths, challenges and opportunities with respect to equity, diversity and inclusion
Inventory of diversity-related initiatives and programs
Work with boards, departments or teams that are experiencing diversity-related tensions or conflicts or are stuck in moving the diversity agenda forward
